Dear Eagles,

Happy Fall! Here's a look at what's happening this week. 

This email serves as a weekly update complete with upcoming event information, reminders, and pertinent information for choir members and their families. If you know of someone who is not currently receiving emails through our list serve, please see the 'Frequently Asked Questions' table on our website, www.eldoradochoirs.org or, notify our webmaster at web@eldoradochoirs.org

Please remember to reach out to any of our outstanding booster members with questions regarding student accounts, payments, or fundraising. Please also remember to utilize our website, www.eldoradochoirs.org, for the most up-to-date information. Finally, should you have any questions concerning the information contained in these emails, please first field your questions to your student, as they may have additional information not included in the email, and then contact myself or a booster member with your inquiry. 

Trip Commitment Form and Fee:
If your student is planning to attend the Choir Trip, please ensure that the Trip Commitment Form and Payment has been made. Please see the website, www.eldoradochoirs.org, for all EHS Choir Forms as well as Fee Structure. 

Choir Scholarships:
We are so grateful to our EHS Choir Boosters for organizing our Choir Scholarships! This is an outstanding way to award our hard working choir kiddos with monies to help fund their exciting year of choir activities. 

If you wish to apply for a scholarship, please have your student fill out the form. They must all print out their grades from Synergy, get a recommendation from a teacher, and write a brief essay. Be sure and read the requirements before applying. The application deadline is September 25 (firm). Please put completed scholarship applications in the dropbox in the choir room. Interviews will be conducted on either October 15 or 22 from 1-3pm in the choir room. An interview schedule will be made once we've received all the applications. Any awarded scholarship will be applied to any of your student's choir fees including the spring trip as needed (it cannot be used for the class fee paid to EHS). The amount received is based on the number of applicants, the application, and the interview.

Solo + Ensemble:
Solo + Ensemble is on Saturday, October 3 at Sandia HS.  

DATE CHANGE: All State Auditions:
Upon completing registration on Monday, I was notified that All State Auditions are now Wednesday, October 21, at UNM.

New Information! High School Musical Jr.:
We are so excited to perform Disney's High School Musical Jr. for friends, faculty, and families! See the dates below!
Tickets are $5 for standard shows and $8 for Double Features!
All Shows begin at 7:00 PM!

September 25 Double Feature with Drama Department!
September 30
October 1
October 2 Double Feature with Drama Department! 

Choreography Week for Show Choirs:
Monday October 12- Thursday October 15 both 24 Carat and Gold Rush will have rehearsal after school until 5:30. Both groups will be learning in Zero Hour and After School, the choreography for their two opening songs!
